Dr. Amanda Xia is a highly skilled and experienced registered acupuncturist, with over 10 years of clinical experience in the field. She obtained her B.Sc. (Med) and M.Sc. (Med) degrees from the Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in Acupuncture and Internal Medicine of TCM.
Dr. Xia completed her internships at the National Clinical Research Center of Acupuncture in China and the hospital affiliated with the Tianjin Academy of TCM. Prior to immigrating to Canada, Dr. Xia worked for several years at the hospital affiliated with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she honed her skills and gained valuable experience in treating a wide range of conditions.
Dr. Xia specializes in Facial rejuvenation, Pain management (including neck, shoulder, elbow, back, sciatic nerve, knee, menstrual pain, TMJ), Post-stroke recovery, Gynecology, Digestive disorders, Cough, Bell’s palsy, Rhinitis, Dry eye, Insomnia and Stress. She treated 30-40 patients a day when she worked in Shanghai, China.
