Meet Dr. Wanda Duong-Wills

Practitioner · Dragon Boat Athlete

Dr. Wanda Duong-Wills brings over a decade of clinical experience to the field of healthcare, contributing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She is a valued practitioner and mentored as a clinical preceptor for many years at Huatuo Clinic, where she played a pivotal role in training future acupuncturists. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary and a diploma in Natural Nutrition, her academic background adds a unique and comprehensive dimension to her acupuncture practice. As an instructor of TCM Clinical Diet Therapy and TCM Dermatology at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, she continues to impart her knowledge to aspiring professionals.

With a profound understanding of sports medicine acupuncture’s crucial role in injury prevention and treatment, Dr. Duong-Wills specialises in recovery and injury rehabilitation. Her firsthand experience as a competitive dragon boat athlete uniquely positions her to provide holistic, preventative care — addressing muscle and joint pain to optimise overall physical performance.

Her approach seamlessly integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with the precision of sports medicine acupuncture, allowing her to address a diverse range of conditions — muscle and joint pain, work-related injuries, reproductive health, mental well-being, immune support, sleep, and digestion. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Duong-Wills finds joy in travelling with her husband, indulging in movies, and sharing moments with her beloved canine companions.
