Dr. Dennis Lee is an esteemed practitioner and educator in the field of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and serves as the President of the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM). 

Dr. Lee has dedicated over 21 years to promoting TCM and its many benefits to the wider community through clinical practice and education. As an experienced and knowledgeable acupuncturist, he is well-versed in various TCM modalities, including Acupuncture, Heat Sensitive Moxibustion (HSM), Chinese Herbal Medicine. Having a unique integrated background in both Western sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Lee has an incredibly unique approach to clinical practice. Specializing in pain management and resolution, mental health, and fertility, Dennis emphasizes the importance of preventative medicine as an integral component of treatment. He strongly believes in the integration of Western physiology and Chinese Medicine theory to address issues more accurately. Focusing on strategically using as few acupuncture needles as possible, Dr. Lee strives to see immediate effects on the conditions being treated. His expansive experiences enabled him to develop highly effective, custom tailored, treatment plans to suit the individual needs of his patients. 

Dr. Lee’s educational background includes current pursuit of a PhD degree in Heat Sensitive Moxibustion at the Jiang Xi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Master of Science in Cell Biology from the University of Alberta, and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Western Ontario. 

As President of ACATCM, Dr. Lee has made significant contributions to the growth and development of TCM in Canada. He is committed to ensuring that students receive the best possible education in TCM and has worked tirelessly to improve the program’s quality at ACATCM. Under his leadership, the college has become a leading institution for TCM education, producing skilled and knowledgeable practitioners who are dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of their patients. 

Dr. Lee is also active in the wider TCM community, serving as a guest speaker for various professional organizations and participating in international conferences and events that promote TCM. He is passionate about advancing the field of TCM and is committed to ensuring that its many benefits are accessible to all who seek them.
